When It Comes To Its Armada HD And QHD Gaming Monitors, HyperX Is Aiming For The Ideal Range

Aug 26, 2022

The Armada 25 and Armada 27 gaming displays from HyperX are officially released. This set of mid-range monitors from the HP-owned business aims to thrive at a time when gaming displays appear to be in vogue.

A 24.5-inch, 1080p gaming monitor with an IPS display, the HyperX Armada 25 has a suggested retail price of $449. The professional player who has to be tuned in at all moments in games like Valorant or Call of Duty: Warzone is the intended audience for this monitor’s 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG reaction time.

With its $500 27-inch 1440p display and 165Hz refresh rate, the Armada 27 gives PC gamers a wider gaming experience.

The desk ergonomics and display features of the larger Armada 27 are similar to those of its 24-inch sibling. Additionally, the Armada 27 supports HDR400, but the Armada 25 does not.

These G-Sync-compliant Armadas come with desk mounts, which are unusual but will free up some valuable desk space. If you’d like to set up a stylish twin monitor setup or simply want a little more freedom, HyperX sells extra arm mounts.

Both of these displays from HyperX are priced in the midst of a competitive marketplace that also includes Asus, Acer, and Dell products.

Although it should be noted that the Armada monitors don’t appear to have built-in speakers, so if you intend to stop wearing a headset, you may need to purchase a good set.

It’s intriguing that HyperX decided against announcing a 4K Armada edition and instead chose to stick with the more typical PC gaming specifications. However, if you’re set on a 4K gaming monitor, fear not—we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorites.

The HyperX Armada 25 and Armada 27 will go on sale next month for $449 and $499, respectively, and come with extra mounts.
