Trump Is The Women’s President, Gina Loudon Says — Does She Have a Point?
Gina Loudon, the co-chair of Women for Trump 2020, said in an interview with Bill Mitchell’s show YourVoice America that the current president’s support for women was ”unparalleled.”
Loudon, who is also a member of the president’s campaign media advisory board and his Mar-a-Lago club, claimed that Trump’s politics and policies had made women truly equal for the first time in history.
In addition to that, Loudon also branded Trump as ”the women’s president,” saying that no other president has done as much as him for the US women. In Loudon’s view, our daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters would benefit from the legacy Trump would leave them.
She went on to state that we should re-elect Donald Trump for a second term next year because of his support for female voters.
According to a Hill-HarrisX nationwide poll released earlier this week, Trump’s approval rating among female voters reached its lowest points in more than a year.
The new survey found out that only 37 percent of women claimed they approve Trump’s work as president, while 63 percent admitted they disapprove it.
Another recent poll commissioned by Greenberg Research and Democracy Corps revealed that white working-class women who supported Trump three years ago were evenly divided in match-ups of Democratic candidates Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren.
Many female rights groups have heavily criticized Donald Trump’s policies arguing that they negatively impact all the women.
One of the main criticism against Trump is his attempt to roll back reproductive rights nationwide while cutting financial aid for international organizations promoting reproductive health abroad.
Nancy Northup, a female rights activist and CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights, said in a 2017 statement that it was not acceptable to dictate civil society groups and health care professionals how they can spend their money.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, several women came forward to accuse Donald Trump of sexual misconduct of varying degrees of seriousness.
In October, Summer Zervos, a former contestant in Trump’s reality show The Apprentice, has presented evidence in court filings in New York to substantiate her claims that the president sexually assaulted her in a hotel room in 2007.
Natasha Stoynoff visited Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in 2005 for an interview with him for PEOPLE Magazine. Stoynoff alleged that Donald Trump pushed her against a wall and forcibly kissed her in a closed-door room.
In 1993, Donald Trump’s first wife, Ivana Trump, once described an encounter with him as ”rape.” Years later, she clarified that she did not mean the world in a literal or criminal sense.
During a 2017 press conference, The White House has officially declined all allegations in sexual harassment. At that time, Donald Trump also suggested that the women who have accused him ”were not attractive enough for him to sexually assault them.”
