Local Multiplayer Game Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon Announced For Apple Arcade
Developer Cornfox and Brothers have announced a new title in the Oceanhorn series. The title will launch as an Apple Arcade exclusive in early January.
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is a 16-bit dungeon crawler with a focus on local multiplayer. A player can enjoy the title alone or with up to four players in total. The title was inspired by similar retro titles but includes many modern enhancements.

The title includes randomized modifiers to make each level unique. As players journey through each level, they can collect loot and fight side-by-side. The players embark on an epic quest that is set before the events of the main Oceanhorn story itself on a battle against the mighty Chronos.
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon was developed as an all-games game, so players of all skill levels can play together. The game offers a challenge but also was balanced with fun. Mechanics were made to be straightforward and easy to learn.
Each playthrough offers a new challenge. The floors of the dungeon are all randomized, so players will never play the same map twice.
Although the game is possible to play alone, players can join together with others. There are benefits from joining others and using each unique character’s skills to battle through the dungeons. Each character has a different set of attacks and abilities, so players can choose what best fits their playstyle.
If fewer players join together, the existing gamers can easily switch characters immediately. Heroes start each game with different stats, depending on the zodiac sign they are bound to.

Players will need an active Apple Arcade subscription to play. There is a free one-month trial available for those unsure about investing in the service.
