Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 According To Activision, The Modern Warfare II Multiplayer Beta Codes will Be Distributed to players
According to Activision, the Modern Warfare II multiplayer beta codes will be distributed to Call of Duty League Championship viewers. The publisher has revealed that spectators will have a chance to get early access to the game as part of the Call of Duty League’s Championship Weekend.
Everyone who attends the live event in person on “Championship Sunday” in Los Angeles will receive a code, and all pre-orders for Modern Warfare 2 will also grant early access to the beta.
All Modern Warfare 2 pre-orders will receive early access to the game’s beta, which will be playable on PlayStation consoles at least five days before it becomes playable on any other platform, according to a recent statement from Activision.
Modern Warfare 2’s open beta was supposed to begin in the middle of September, albeit there is no official launch date yet. However, the Call of Duty League website advises players to link their Activision account with their YouTube account to be eligible to watch on August 7.
Following that, “Drop Winners” will be notified via the COD Companion app and the COD League website. According to rumors, pre-order buyers will be able to access a cross-play test for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC from September 22–23. Then, from September 24–26, everyone else will be able to access it.
Tom Henderson, a second reliable source, stated that Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer reveal would happen at the start of September, followed by the beta’s start in the middle to end of the same month.
Activision has scheduled the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for October 28, 2022. However, if you miss out on some of the beta fun, there is quite a bit of waiting as the entire game isn’t scheduled to release until October 28.
So, it would seem that checking in to Call of Duty League the next week might be a good alternative if you don’t want to pre-purchase the game to get access.
