In a rare statement Monday, the Buckingham Palace rejected any allegations that Prince Andrew participated in the sex crimes which the disgraced U.S. millionaire Jeffrey Epstein was accused of.
The British royal family asserted that the Duke of York was “
The British media published a video and pictures of Prince Andrew showing him inside Epstein’s Manhattan mansion in 2010. Reportedly, the images were taken two years after the financier pleaded guilty to a felony prostitution charge in Florida and was included in the sex offenders registry.
Earlier this month, Queen Elizabeth’s third child, Prince Andrew, had to decline a new portion of sex offense allegations. His name appeared in court documents released to the public a day before Epstein’s suicide.
They were unsealed concerning a 2015 lawsuit against Epstein’s close friend Ghislaine Maxwell by one of the financier’s alleged victims, Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
The newly-published documents contained a deposition by another alleged victim, Johanna Sjoberg. She claimed that Prince Andrew touched her breast while they were chilling on a couch in Epstein’s mansion in 2001.
Sjoberg explained that she was still studying at Palm Beach Atlantic College in 2001 when Maxwell approached her with a job proposal. It was supposed to be a one-day assignment involving phone work. She accepted the project and did the job. The next time she went to the Epstein’s Florida estate, she was forced to perform a nude massage for him.
Virginia Roberts Giuffre who was then 17, also stated in her court papers in Florida that she was forced to be with Prince Andrew three times, including one orgy. In her words, she was with the British monarch in London, New York, and on Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean.
The Buckingham Palace declined all the allegations defining them as ”categorically untrue.”
The millionaire Jeffrey Epstein was arrested July 6 on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges. Authorities claimed he abused dozens of underage girls sexually in his properties in New York and Florida in the 2000’s. In addition to that, the prosecutors also said that he paid the girls to recruit others and to build a vast network of call girls for him.
He pleaded not guilty and remained in jail in Manhattan without bail. Epstein, 66, committed suicide earlier this month after officially being charged with sex trafficking.
What do you think? Do you believe the accusations of the two alleged victims against Prince Andrew?
