The JRPG mobile game Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space will soon launch on Steam this Spring. The game is a fresh take on the genre by storyteller Masato Kato (Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 7, Xenogears).
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space stars Aldo, a boy from a small village, thrown 800 years into the future. He discovers a nefarious plot that was interwoven throughout many eras, all in hopes of destroying the world. Aldo teams up with a party of allies to journey through the Antiquity, Present, and Future.
The game contains hundreds of hours of content. Players can enjoy the main campaign along with side quests, plus challenging dungeons.
The map itself has multiple continents and time periods to explore. Aldo can recruit hundreds of playable party members in “gatcha” collecting format. Each character has special attacks and combo attacks. The gameplay contains classic, turn-based combat. It’s up to players to strategize and combine magic chants, party buffs, and abilities to win.

Developer WFS will be in charge of the Steam release. It will be supported in all Steam regions, except for mainland China, Belgium, and Japan.
Players have the opportunity to play the pre-release in the near future. Those who participate in the Wishlist Registration Campaign can win rewards on both PC and mobile.
All new users who start on the PC version will receive a “Netherworld Princess Fragment,” which grants a 4-star Suzette. Wishlisting will add up to prizes for PC and mobile players. At 1,000 registrations, everyone will receive ten High-Class Scrolls, Chronos Stone x1,000 at 5,000 registrations, and ten Encounters if 10,000 players wishlist the game.
The development staff includes music from Yasunori Mitsuda（Chrono Trigger), and Shunsuke Tsuchiy（Luminous Arc), plus art direction by Takahito Exa（BINCHOTAN).
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is a free-to-play game. The mobile version has in-app purchases for “Chronos Stones,” the game’s paid currency. It’s likely the Steam version will have the same purchases available.
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is immediately available on the App Store and Play Store. There is no information on if the mobile version will be shut down in favor of the PC version so that players can continue their adventures as Aldo.
