Actress Lori Loughlin And Designer Mossimo Giannulli Plead Not Guilty—Wave Rights To Arraignment.

As reported Monday on Fox News, actress Lori Loughlin and designer husband Mossimo Giannulli, have both entered a not guilty plea for their alleged involvement in the recent “Varsity Blues” college admissions scam.

Court documents, obtained as well by Fox News, show that both Loughlin, 54, and her husband Giannulli, 55, stated that they waived their individual rights to appear in court, for an arraignment, and have instead entered a not guilty plea for their alleged involvement in the college bribery scandal.

Fox also learned that Loughlin, former “Full House” and “When Calls The Heart” actress, also chose to waive her appearance in court for arraignment in connection with her additional charges in the college admissions scandal, according to the Department of Justice.

Although both Loughlin and Giannulli have not appeared in court, it is uncertain at this point if the judge sitting the case will allow the not guilty pleas, without either individual having been present in court.

Loughlin and Giannulli are two of 50 individuals reported charged in the nationwide college admissions scam, with actress Felicity Huffman being named as well. Reports stated earlier in the month that Huffman had worked out an agreement in exchange for a guilty plea for her part in the scam.

The Justice Department has stated that this will be the largest college admissions case that they have ever prosecuted. The elite university named as involved spread all across the country and the world is given a surreal look at just how far the wealthy, status-seeking elite will go to secure their children a spot in said elite universities.

On top of the original mail fraud conspiracy charge that was initially handed down, those individuals involved were hit with yet another charge last week—that of a money laundering conspiracy. Although Loughlin and Giannulli were both arrested last month, and subsequently released on $1 million bonds, they recently learned of the additional money laundering charges. If convicted, the couple could possibly face up to 40 years in prison, each.

Hallmark Channel has also since released a statement that they have cute ties with Loughlin, and plan to employee what they termed creative editing to remove her appearance in the season premiere of their “When Calls The Heart.” Hallmark representatives have also stated that they have dropped Loughlin’s “Garage Sale Mysteries” from their channels viewing schedule at this time as well.
